How to play WHO FARTED? on Roblox
Short answer: one player is the farter and everyone else is a survivor. Survivors run tasks, keep the power on, report bodies and call emergency meetings to vote the farter out. The farter wins by farting on survivors without getting ejected.
Checked 2026-10-05. The Roblox description only says “one player is secretly the farter, find them before they fart on you.” Everything below about tasks, meetings and powers comes from watching four separate creators’ rounds, linked at each step, not from developer patch notes.
The two roles

The server holds up to 10 players. Who becomes the farter is not explained by the developer. Two products change it: the 2x Farter Chance pass and the BE NEXT FARTER product on the shop list.
Survivor: what to do each round
- Do your tasks. Tasks seen in the videos include rewiring a vent, downloading files from a laptop and repairing a camera (Lana's Life and Kat, 0:53; GaraBLOX, 5:45). Task counts changed by map and lobby: one player saw 15, another 21.
- Fix the power when the lights go out. The farter can cut the power (THE BOIS, 1:30). Survivors found a power box and turned it back on (GaraBLOX, 4:13). One creator said a map had two power stations.
- Read the clues tasks give you. Survivors got hints such as “Suspect is north of you” and “Suspect is nowhere near you” (Lana's Life and Kat, 1:12; Sunny and Melon, 4:40), and one opened a secret briefcase that said the suspect “has something on their face.”
- Report a body or press the emergency button. Both start a meeting. The emergency button is in the meeting room (THE BOIS, 2:16). One player was told to wait about 15 seconds before a report went through (GaraBLOX, 1:15), and another got “too soon, I can’t report” (Sunny and Melon, 5:35).
- Vote. In the meeting, players vote on who to eject. Votes can tie, and wrong players get ejected often. A correct vote ended one round with the farter flushed away (Sunny and Melon, 4:56).
- Finish everything, then survive the clock. When all tasks were done, two separate videos said the timer sped up (GaraBLOX, 3:08; THE BOIS, 1:00). One round ended with “the survivors escaped the farter” after all tasks were completed (Sunny and Melon, 7:03).
How to find the farter
- Note who was near a body and who was seen doing a real task. A player standing at a task panel is better evidence than a skin or an outfit. In several videos a vote over a haircut or a shirt ejected a survivor.
- Use the clue lines. A “Suspect is north of you” hint plus who was near the body is a better case than “they look sus.”
- Do not leave the emergency button alone late in a round. In one video the farter camped it so survivors could not call a meeting. A blackout means the farter may be near the power box.
- Wearing the free fart skin does not make anyone the farter. It is a reward for liking the game and joining the group.
Farter: how to win
- Fart on survivors when nobody else can see. Rounds in the videos ended in a farter win once no survivors were left.
- Cutting the power puts out the lights; survivors then have to walk to the power box to fix it, which pulls them away from each other.
- Have a task story ready for the meeting. Players defended themselves by naming the task they were on, and a farter can do the same.
- Farter power-ups were shown in one video’s menu: a sniffer that sniffs out the nearest survivor, swapping places with a player, a power that makes a dead body get up and walk around, and a killer ability (Sunny and Melon, 4:01–5:16). Treat these as seen, not a complete list.
Maps, coins and map votes
Players named a school map and a vacation home map in one session (GaraBLOX, 2:07 and 4:56). Others described a large map with an elevator and a second floor. There is no official map list yet.
On 2026-10-02 the developer added an x2 COINS pass and a 2x MAP VOTES pass. That confirms there are coins and a map vote, but the developer has not published what coins buy or how the vote is counted. See the update log and every price.
